Our Founder & Leader
Malisa Michelle is an ordained Minister of the gospel of Yeshua and the Founder of Rooted Kingdom Ministries, a faith-centered ministry created to help people grow deeper in their relationship with Yahweh, become rooted in biblical truth, understand the historical context of Scripture, and walk confidently in their Kingdom identity and purpose.
Malisa’s journey has been one of faith, growth, healing, and transformation. Through her own life experiences, she has learned that knowing about Yahweh and truly walking with Him are two very different things. Her desire is not to teach religion, but to encourage people to develop a genuine relationship with Yahweh, study His Word for themselves, ask deeper questions, and allow truth to transform the way they live.
With a heart for teaching and community, Malisa founded Rooted Kingdom Ministries as a place where people can pray, learn, heal, fellowship, serve, and grow together. Her teachings explore biblical truth, Kingdom living, covenant, biblical history, the African presence within the biblical world, identity, family, purpose, and the importance of understanding Scripture within its historical context.
Malisa is also an entrepreneur and lifelong learner who earned both a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and an MBA in Entrepreneurship. She believes that purpose does not have an expiration date and that Yahweh can continue to call, develop, and use us in every season of life.
At the heart of her ministry is a simple conviction: knowledge should lead to transformation. Understanding Scripture, history, and identity should ultimately draw us closer to Yahweh and produce greater faith, obedience, love, wisdom, and service to others.
Through Rooted Kingdom Ministries, Malisa hopes to help build a community of people who are not afraid to study, question, grow, and pursue truth while remaining firmly grounded in Yahweh.
Her message is simple:
Get rooted in the Word. Know who you are. Know Whose you are. And walk boldly in the purpose Yahweh has placed upon your life.

Our Story
Rooted in Truth. Grounded in Faith. Walking in Kingdom Purpose.
Rooted Kingdom Ministries was created as a place for men and women who desire to go deeper in their relationship with Yahweh, grow in biblical understanding, and discover what it means to live with Kingdom purpose.
We believe faith should be rooted in truth—not simply tradition. Our mission is to encourage believers to open the Scriptures, study for themselves, ask meaningful questions, and seek a deeper understanding of Yahweh’s Word.
An important part of our ministry is exploring biblical history and the African presence throughout Scripture. We create space for conversations about Black history, identity, heritage, and the historical world of the Bible while remaining committed to careful study and biblical truth.
Rooted Kingdom Ministries is also about everyday Kingdom living. Through Bible teaching, prayer, encouragement, family and relationship discussions, and community outreach, we seek to strengthen individuals and families spiritually and practically.
Our foundational Scripture is Colossians 2:6–7, which calls believers to walk in Messiah, being rooted and built up in Him and established in faith.
We are not here simply to follow what has always been taught. We are here to study, seek, grow, heal, build, and become rooted.
Welcome to Rooted Kingdom Ministries.
